Senior Product Engineer

About the role

Senior Product Engineer at Rohlik, the leading Central European e‑grocer. Join a small cell of 3‑5 engineers that owns a business metric and delivers features from design to production in a fast‑moving AI‑native environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and improve your cell’s North Star metric, delivering the hardest technical work while respecting guardrails.
• Design, build, ship, monitor, and be on‑call for features in production, releasing frequently.
• Lead technical guild initiatives, taking ideas to adoption across teams.
• Mentor teammates, conduct code reviews, and guide technical direction.
• Contribute to system architecture and cross‑cell reviews, ensuring scalability and robustness.
• Identify and reduce technical debt early.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development with a proven record of delivering complex projects.
• Degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience leading technical work from concept to launch and operating it in production.
• Deep expertise in system design, data modeling and application architecture.
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Devin) and directing AI agents.
• Strong mentoring and communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
