Senior Software Engineer – Flight Experience

About the role

We are looking for a senior software engineer to drive AI‑powered innovation within our Flight Experience team. You will build real‑time solutions for disruption handling, automated check‑in, baggage and seating, and own end‑to‑end features that improve the travel journey.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement highly efficient, real‑time services for automated check‑in, baggage handling and disruption refunds.
• Write maintainable production code, ensure robust unit, integration and manual testing, and ship early to iterate fast.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, data experts and other engineering squads to translate metrics into high‑impact features.
• Own the full lifecycle of projects from conception through production deployment, including safe releases and cloud reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience accelerating development with AI‑native tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
• Strong background in Python development and familiarity with Golang.
• Hands‑on experience designing scalable microservice architectures, REST APIs and asynchronous messaging (e.g., Celery, RabbitMQ).
• Deep knowledge of data management using PostgreSQL, Redis and BigQuery.
• Ability to solve complex, multi‑system problems with an analytical and empathetic mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
