Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Prague. As a member of the APEX team, you will develop web applications focused on AI use‑cases for our pharmaceutical business. You will work in a cross‑functional agile team, contributing to architecture, prototyping, development and delivering high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate within a cross‑functional agile team to develop applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using TypeScript and/or Python.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and propose improvements to architecture, scalability and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest software engineering patterns and principles.
• Work closely with product owners, UX designers and other functions to deliver high‑quality software.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in TypeScript (or JavaScript) or Python.
• Solid experience with React, HTML and CSS for front‑end development.
• Experience with AWS or Azure and Terraform.
• Experience with Docker (Kubernetes is a plus).
• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem‑solving skills.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and GitHub (GitHub Actions is a plus).
• Understanding of secure software development principles.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Active usage of developer AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor or Kiro.
