Senior Software Engineer - Low Level C++ - Linux & Cloud Security

About the role

SentinelOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the end‑to‑end development of new agent capabilities that protect Linux and cloud workloads worldwide. You will work across kernel‑level components, user‑space engines, and cloud‑native security features, driving innovative security solutions at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test low‑level security features using modern C++23, with occasional Rust or Go components.
• Conduct research on Linux and cloud security technologies, including eBPF and kernel tracing.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and daily/weekly scrum meetings.
• Provide technical support for customers within the team’s domain.

Required profile

• Multiple years of experience developing complex systems in modern C++.
• Deep knowledge of Linux OS architecture, internals, and low‑level debugging.
• Experience delivering production‑grade software with large‑scale deployments.

Required skills

• C++23 (primary language)
• Rust and/or Go (optional)
• Linux kernel development and tracing
• eBPF and Linux networking subsystem
• Container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Unit testing and automated test creation
