Senior UX Designer - Design Systems

About the role

Join SAP to own and evolve the Concur Mobile design system for iOS and Android, ensuring it stays grounded in real product experiences while aligning with enterprise standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the Concur Mobile design system for iOS and Android, including components, patterns, tokens and guidelines.
• Specify component anatomy, states, behavior, accessibility and usage guidance for engineers.
• Design complex features within the Concur app, ensuring the system stays grounded in real product contexts.
• Align mobile design language with enterprise standards and reconcile diverging patterns across teams.
• Partner with mobile engineers to ship components as designed and participate in technical reviews.
• Ensure all system elements meet iOS and Android accessibility standards.
• Design AI‑powered features such as expense intelligence and smart suggestions, focusing on trust and transparency.
• Use AI‑assisted prototyping and automation to accelerate validation.
• Mentor junior designers and raise documentation rigor.

Required profile

• Proven experience owning and maintaining enterprise‑scale design systems, especially for mobile.
• Deep knowledge of iOS and Android platform conventions and native interaction patterns.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating mobile product design and design‑system ownership.
• Ability to communicate design decisions clearly across engineering, product and senior stakeholders.
• Experience designing AI‑enabled experiences and applying responsible AI principles.
• Comfort with ambiguous, high‑stakes design challenges and rapid learning.
