About the role

ABB is looking for a Service Technician to join its high‑voltage service team. You will be responsible for installing, testing, repairing and commissioning high‑voltage equipment and switchgear for customers across the Czech Republic and abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Perform service, repair, installation, testing, diagnostics and commissioning of high‑voltage devices and switchgear.
• Collaborate with engineering and development teams on customer‑oriented projects such as data centres, industrial plants and large energy installations.
• Work within a team of roughly 20 service technicians, sharing knowledge and providing technical support.
• Undertake short on‑site interventions in the Czech Republic and longer projects overseas.

Required profile

• Technical education in electrical engineering (minimum 6 years of study as defined by NV 194/2022 Sb. is an advantage).
• Experience in service interventions, maintenance or commissioning of electrical equipment is a plus.
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
• Independent, reliable and eager to learn new technologies.
