Shop Floor Manager / Mistr – Cleanroom Production

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY CZECH REPUBLIC S.R.O. is looking for an experienced leader to run a production department in a cleanroom environment in Prague. You will lead a team of operators, manage day-to-day production and make sure targets, quality standards and safety requirements are met. The role is full time and on site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 15-20 operators and senior operators
• Organize daily work and ensure the production plan is fulfilled
• Take responsibility for quality, safety and compliance with manufacturing procedures
• Coordinate workforce capacity and staffing levels
• Resolve operational issues and support continuous process improvement
• Work with production data, ERP systems and basic reporting
• Collaborate with other departments across the manufacturing organization

Required profile

• Previous experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
• Natural leader who can motivate and engage a team
• Systematic, results-focused approach with strong organizational skills
• Preferred: experience in a technologically advanced manufacturing environment and in cleanroom operations
• Preferred: knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or similar), Lean Manufacturing and/or continuous improvement methods, and a technical education background
• Preferred: basic English
