SOC Analyst – Cyber Security Operations

About the role

Join PwC's Security Operations Center in Prague and help protect client environments by detecting, investigating, and remediating cyber threats. You will work with a range of SIEM and EDR tools to provide comprehensive security monitoring and incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyse and triage security alerts using SIEM and EDR platforms.
• Perform log analysis and investigations to reach evidence‑based conclusions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of SOC processes, guidelines and procedures.
• Participate in cross‑disciplinary projects for major EMEA clients.
• Document incidents and support post‑incident activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience in security operations.
• Consistent, reliable professional able to work in international, diverse teams.
• Previous SOC/CERT/CSIRT experience is highly desired.
• Hands‑on experience with system & log analysis or Windows/Linux administration.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SIEM tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, or FireEye.
• Experience with EDR solutions like Microsoft Defender, Tanium.
• Security/network analysis, incident response, and threat intelligence fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
