Software Engineer II (Swift)

About the role

Jamf is seeking a Software Engineer II to join its Brno team, building macOS extensions for Jamf Protect – an enterprise endpoint security solution. The position is hybrid and focuses on real‑time monitoring, custom threat detections, and Apple’s endpoint security frameworks while preserving the Apple user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Break down customer problems into actionable work for the team.
• Own tasks end‑to‑end and deliver high‑quality results.
• Leverage enterprise‑grade tooling, including AI assistants, to work smarter and faster.
• Mentor teammates using deep product knowledge.
• Apply engineering best practices to design, develop, test, and ship software.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly across Engineering, Support, Product, and Cloud teams.
• Identify when to seek input and collaborate with the right stakeholders.
• Partner with Engineers, Product, and leadership to align priorities and drive company goals.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience developing with Swift on Apple platforms, including macOS.
• 2+ years building enterprise‑grade software with solid testing and QA practices.
• Hands‑on experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
• Comfort working in an agile environment.
• Strong ability to build trust and rapport with customers and colleagues at all levels.
• Collaborative, solution‑oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced setting.
