About the role

ABB is seeking a communicative and well‑organized Buyer for its Instrument Transformers and Sensors unit in Brno. The role focuses on both operational and strategic procurement of components needed for transformer manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure procurement of materials and services and manage purchase orders.
• Handle tender processes and follow procurement procedures.
• Collaborate on cost‑reduction initiatives and inventory management.
• Implement new procurement tools and improve administrative processes.

Required profile

• Secondary or university education in economics or a technical field.
• Communicative knowledge of English and Czech.
• Experience in procurement or logistics is advantageous.
• Knowledge of SAP and procurement processes is a plus.
