Technical Project Manager – Generator & Switchgear

About the role

As a Technical Project Manager you will lead complex customer projects focused on generator and special switchgear systems. You will coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end customer projects in the generator and special switchgear domain.
• Plan, monitor and control project schedules, resources, costs and quality, applying corrective actions when needed.
• Review technical specifications from both technical and commercial perspectives and align solutions with customer requirements.
• Design generator and switchgear solutions, develop concepts and work closely with partners and suppliers.
• Assess supplier quotations, handle change, claim and risk management activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of proven project‑management experience, preferably with formal training or certification.
• Solid knowledge of switchgear systems and related technologies; experience with generator applications is highly desirable.
• Experience working in international, cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German or other languages are a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
