Transport Specialist

About the role

As a Transport Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring our products reach customers on time and in full across multiple European markets. Working closely with carriers, warehouses and cross‑functional supply chain teams, you will coordinate transport activities, monitor performance, resolve operational challenges and identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency and cost.

Key responsibilities

• Own transport planning and execution activities for assigned markets, ensuring efficient and reliable product delivery.
• Optimize transport plans by balancing customer service, cost and capacity requirements.
• Monitor transport execution and proactively resolve delivery exceptions and disruptions.
• Work closely with carriers, warehouses, customer service and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Track and analyse logistics KPIs including On Time In Full (OTIF), Transport Plan Attainment and Variable Logistics Costs.
• Lead carrier performance reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address operational issues.
• Support testing, deployment and stabilization of new logistics systems, tools and processes.
• Ensure accurate data management and execution within SAP, Transport Management Systems and reporting platforms.
• Share best practices and contribute to operational excellence across the logistics organization.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in logistics, transport, supply chain or a related field.
• Understanding of supply chain and transportation processes within a fast‑paced business environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ownership mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Ability to build effective working relationships across teams and external partners.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities and operational needs.
