Warehouse Operations Manager

About the role

Rohlik is launching a brand‑new, highly automated fulfillment centre in Opatovice nad Labem and needs a hands‑on Operations Manager to shape the site from day one. You will lead a core shift on the shop floor, working directly with Area Managers and cross‑functional teams to build safe, productive, and scalable warehouse processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the shift: be present on the floor, drive operational performance, safety compliance and labour management.
• Coach and develop a team of Area Managers, ensuring optimal staffing, skills and readiness.
• Collaborate with Automation, OpEx, HR, IT and Transport to solve live challenges and align resources.
• Monitor site KPIs, conduct root‑cause analyses and champion continuous‑improvement based on shop‑floor observation.
• Support implementation of new processes, tools and automated systems across the fulfillment centre.
• Drive standardisation, safety compliance and best‑practice adoption in a new operational environment.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on warehouse or logistics operations experience, with direct floor leadership.
• Proven track record managing large teams (50+ people) in fast‑paced environments.
• Willingness to be present on the shop floor daily rather than working mainly from a desk.
• Strong analytical mindset and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Excellent communication, coordination and leadership skills.
• Fluent English and conversational Czech.
