Food & Beverage Service Expert – Rooms Service

About the role

The Food & Beverage Service Expert supports the Guest Service team by delivering memorable dining experiences for hotel guests. Working in the rooms service area, you will ensure meals are prepared, presented, and served to the highest standards while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and clear tables, ensuring all dining areas are clean and well‑stocked.
• Communicate orders accurately with the kitchen and coordinate timely delivery.
• Interact with guests courteously, taking orders, answering questions, and addressing special requests.
• Maintain hygiene standards by cleaning workstations, equipment, and service areas.
• Handle menu items, verify information visually, and assist guests in menu selection.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance, and moving safely on varied surfaces.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than one year of related food‑service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods and perform physical tasks safely.
