Night Auditor – Hotel Front Desk & Finance

About the role

The Night Auditor ensures accurate financial reporting and provides front‑desk support during overnight hours at a Marriott hotel in Plzen. This role combines accounting duties with guest service to maintain smooth operations throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Verify figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
• Record, store, and analyze computerized financial information.
• Control and secure cash and cash equivalents according to hotel cash‑handling policies.
• Organize and maintain files and records in line with retention and confidentiality standards.
• Prepare, distribute, and audit statistical, financial, accounting, and payroll reports.
• Reconcile all revenue postings and ensure accurate accounting.
• Follow safety, security, and company policies, reporting any incidents.
• Welcome and assist guests, addressing service needs and handling inquiries.
• Answer telephone calls using professional etiquette.
• Support team goals, maintain a clean professional appearance, and protect company assets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to work night shifts and perform physical tasks (lifting ≤10 lb).
• Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to company policies.
