User Experience Designer

About the role

The Thales IAM User Experience team is looking for a passionate User Experience Designer to shape trusted identity and access solutions for employees and customers. You will work closely with designers, product owners, engineers and researchers to create intuitive, mobile-first experiences that align with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Translate abstract concepts into sketches, journey maps, wireframes, high-fidelity comps and interactive prototypes for user testing.
• Present design solutions to stakeholders, defending decisions with data and user feedback.
• Design adaptive, responsive interfaces for mobile, tablet and desktop workflows.
• Lead cross-functional workshops, use storytelling to align teams around a shared vision, and coach product teams through discovery, delivery and usability testing.
• Collaborate with user researchers to synthesize insights into actionable design outcomes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Design, Product Design, Interaction or Experience Design.
• Strong curiosity, critical thinking and ability to tackle complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for interactions with users, product teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in fast-paced software development environments and familiarity with AI-powered design tools.
• Portfolio showcasing user-centered design work, storytelling and prototype creation.
