Associate Counsel – Commercial Contracts & Channel Operations

About the role

The Associate Counsel supports Zebra’s channel and partner business across EMEA, handling partner onboarding, standard channel contracts and day‑to‑day legal queries. You will work closely with Channel Operations, Deal Desk, Sales and global Legal teams to apply approved templates while seeking ways to simplify and automate workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first legal contact for routine partner onboarding and channel questions through the Zebra Partner Interaction Center.
• Draft, review and negotiate standard channel agreements, amendments and partner documentation.
• Prepare and review routine partner notices, authorization letters and corporate change documents.
• Assist with first‑level review of channel programme documents, promotions and partner communications.
• Identify and propose practical improvements to simplify, standardise or automate recurring legal work and channel workflows.
• Contribute to channel legal projects and process‑improvement initiatives as experience grows.
• Support EMEA and global brand‑protection initiatives, including trademark and copyright reviews.

Required profile

• Master’s Degree in Law (Mgr. / equivalent) from an accredited European university.
• 2–4 years of experience in commercial contract drafting, either in‑house or at a law firm.
• Understanding of indirect sales channels, multi‑tier distribution models or partner‑network ecosystems is a strong plus.
• Proactive mindset with interest in process simplification, legal technology and modern legal operations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to explain legal processes clearly to non‑legal partners.
• Fluency in English (written and oral); additional European languages are advantageous.
