Senior Counsel – Technology IP & M&A (Brno)

About the role

We're currently partnering with an innovative international technology company that is looking to hire a Senior Counsel to join its legal team in Brno. This is a highly specialised position focused on technology‑related IP transactions, particularly in the context of strategic partnerships, technology licensing, joint development projects, and M&A activity.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate technology licences, joint development agreements, and commercial cooperation agreements.
• Support M&A transactions, including share and asset purchase agreements.
• Conduct legal due diligence with a focus on IP and commercial risks.
• Advise on investment and strategic partnership agreements.
• Develop frameworks around IP ownership, licensing, governance, and risk management.
• Partner closely with business leaders on strategic growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer (JD, LLM, or equivalent).
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong experience with technology‑focused IP transactions.
• Exposure to IP matters within M&A transactions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced international environment.
