Senior Data Analyst

About the role

The Data Analytics team at 8am is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support Finance, Partnerships and Product functions. You will deliver high‑quality analytics, automate reporting, and turn complex data into actionable insights for senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ad‑hoc analysis to identify trends, root causes and opportunities across the product ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to automate data transformations and build scalable data models.
• Work cross‑functionally with Finance, Accounting, Partnerships and Product to translate data into strategic insights.
• Manage the full data lifecycle—from collection and measurement to analysis, interpretation and presentation.
• Develop interactive visualizations and clear data stories for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Gather internal and external data sources to provide a comprehensive view of business problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn ambiguous questions into structured analyses.
• Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced data transformation using SQL.
• Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
