Senior Java Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join the team behind TBM, Eurowag’s internal FinTech platform that processes millions of financial transactions each month across fuel, toll, e‑Mobility and payment services. You will own the full lifecycle of the solutions you create, from architecture to production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services using Java and Quarkus.
• Write clean, maintainable and testable code with comprehensive unit, integration and end‑to‑end test coverage.
• Take ownership of services in production, including monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor fellow engineers and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Work on mission‑critical financial transaction flows with high standards for security, reliability and compliance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience with Java (17/21).
• Hands‑on experience with reactive programming (Quarkus/Mutiny or Spring WebFlux).
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of Apache Kafka and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
