Talent & Learning Partner – ELDS

About the role

ABB is looking for a Talent & Learning Partner to support the ELDS division and its business lines. The role will design and deliver talent management and learning solutions that enable employee growth and align with the division’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Translate division and business‑line people‑strategy into actionable development programs, including leadership, rotational, and skills‑improvement initiatives.
• Support the annual people review process, providing guidelines for performance, potential, retention risk and readiness assessments.
• Act as advisor to leaders and HR Business Partners on talent and learning matters, driving follow‑up actions and strategic workforce planning.
• Track talent metrics such as bench strength, pipeline health and internal mobility, and deliver insights to senior leadership.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness, manage the global learning budget and communicate learning offerings and career pathways.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of talent and leadership development methodologies.
• Coaching and consulting skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience managing multiple projects across geographies and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Strategic mindset, business acumen and excellent communication skills.
• Adaptable, curious and comfortable working in multicultural, fast‑changing environments.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with LMS/LXP platforms, specifically Workday Learning.
