AML Consultant/Senior Consultant

About the role

We are part of PwC’s Financial Crime team, a regional centre of expertise that helps banks and regulators prevent money‑laundering, fraud and other financial‑crime risks. You will join a Prague‑based multi‑national group that delivers regulatory and technology advisory to international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support banks and regulatory bodies on projects to identify, stop and prevent money‑laundering, fraud and sanctions violations.
• Analyse and improve financial‑crime operating models within client institutions.
• Test and optimise anti‑money‑laundering and sanctions‑screening systems.
• Participate in due‑diligence engagements assessing AML/CTF/Sanctions compliance.
• Contribute to financial‑crime risk assessments, CDD/KYC implementation and testing activities.
• Ensure high quality and timely delivery of client deliverables.
• Assist business‑development efforts by preparing proposals, marketing material and presentation decks.

Required profile

• University degree in economics, business or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in anti‑financial‑crime, AML or compliance, preferably in a financial institution or consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of international AML, CTF and sanctions regulations.
• Excellent English; German or French is a plus.
• Experience in business analysis, requirements definition and project management.
• Detail‑oriented, advisory mindset and willingness to travel internationally.
