Senior Data Analyst – Internal Audit

About the role

As a member of Ingersoll Rand’s Internal Audit Department, the Senior Data Analyst supports internal audit work by building repeatable data pipelines, developing analytics, and maintaining audit technology.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in risk assessment by pulling and preparing data.
• Build and regularly refresh data pipelines for commonly tested areas.
• Develop and maintain analytic logic, visuals, and the analytics library.
• Identify efficiency opportunities in SOX and operational audit testing.
• Support AI development for the audit department and train audit teams on analytic tools.
• Assist with fraud investigations, data‑rich audits, and interface with external auditors.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience as a data analyst developing analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Analytics, Information Technology or related field.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and R.
• Fluent English communication skills.
