A&PS Delivery Solution Architect

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a hybrid A&PS Delivery Solution Architect in Prague. The role is designed as hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week spent in an HPE office. It covers designing end-to-end solutions for virtualization, Linux, Kubernetes and cloud technologies, translating customer business needs into scalable and secure architecture, and mentoring team members.

Key responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions focused on virtualization, Linux, Kubernetes and cloud technologies.
• Translate customer business requirements into scalable and secure technical architecture.
• Lead solution design and give technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks.
• Work with project managers, consultants and customer stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical best practices, reusable architecture and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor team members and support their professional development.

Required profile

• 8+ years of industry experience, a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in Czech or Slovakian is mandatory.
• Ability to lead teams of two or more consultants and to manage medium to large business-unit level projects.
• Good customer influence and negotiation skills, and excellent speaking and writing skills.

Required skills

• Architecting: understanding customer business problems and designing appropriate IS solutions.
• Familiarity with architectural methodologies such as Zachman and TOGAF, and ITSM.
• Specialisation in virtualization platforms, including Linux and Kubernetes.
• Writing Statements of Work and applying program/project management methods.
