Assistance Services Specialist – German (Travel)

About the role

Join a newly established assistance team in Ostrava, supporting customers who need medical help abroad. You will act as a key point of contact, providing guidance and practical assistance during critical moments.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the helpline: take phone calls and process emails from customers seeking medical assistance.
• Verify customer data and insurance coverage.
• Process payments to clients and service providers.
• Register and manage cases in the internal system, administer insurance claims and review related documents.
• Organise assistance using the network of hospitals, doctors and other service providers.
• Collaborate with foreign branches of the AXA Partners Group.

Required profile

• Completed secondary education (high school diploma).
• Czech or Polish language at native level.
• Fluency in German (C1 level or native speaker).
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level).
• Strong communication skills, empathy and sense of responsibility.
• Willingness to work rotating or irregular shifts in an international environment.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with internet browsers.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Stress‑resilience.
