Business Analyst – Production Simulation & Modeling

About the role

Join the Prague IT hub to develop analytical models that directly influence the production of life‑saving medicines and vaccines worldwide. You will transform complex manufacturing data into precise simulation scenarios that optimise the flow of activities across our facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Create digital models of manufacturing equipment, capturing resources, constraints and site‑specific details.
• Use the RTS system for real‑time scheduling and optimise sequencing of production activities.
• Apply Discrete Event Simulation to analyse parallel operations, predict bottlenecks and improve overall flow.
• Integrate simulation models with live systems (SAP, MES, PI Historian, SQL databases) and visualise results in Power BI.
• Collaborate with global Human Health and upcoming Animal Health teams in an Agile environment using Jira.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience with modelling and simulation, preferably Discrete Event Simulation.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases and ability to work with data from manufacturing systems (MES, PI Historian).
• Analytical mindset to translate complex processes into structured models and clear business requirements.
• Excellent English communication skills for collaboration with international stakeholders.
