Business Data Analyst – Pricing & Commercial Excellence

About the role

Stäubli, a Swiss family-owned company with headquarters in Pardubice, is hiring a Business Data Analyst for its Pricing & Commercial Excellence team. The role improves profitability, pricing strategies and commercial performance by turning data into proactive recommendations on pricing, discounts, portfolio management and sales efficiency. It is a divisional role with global scope, based in the new Pardubice offices (home office possible, not fully remote).

Key responsibilities

• Analyze pricing, margins and profitability across products, customers and regions, and turn data into pricing and commercial recommendations.
• Evaluate profitability, margins, pricing and discount performance, and analyze discount structures to recommend pricing optimization.
• Support pricing strategy with market analysis, pricing simulations and CRM win/loss insights.
• Provide insights on customer profitability, purchasing behavior and key account performance.
• Identify ways to improve sales operational efficiency and work closely with Sales, Product Management, Pricing and Supply Chain teams.
• Ensure pricing data quality and build dashboards and business reports.
• Occasional travel every 6-8 weeks to France or Germany.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Finance, Controlling, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration.
• 3+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Pricing Analytics, Revenue Management, Product Management Analytics or Sales Operations (preferred in a manufacturing or B2B company).
• Fluent English (C1 level) and residence within commuting distance of Pardubice; driving licence.
• Strong analytical mindset, cross-functional collaboration, influencing skills and autonomy.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik or Tableau.
• SAP and CRM knowledge (ERP and CRM platforms); SQL is an advantage.
• Statistical analysis, data modelling and pricing analytics.
