Commis Chef

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Prague is looking for a Commis Chef to support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality culinary experiences. You will assist with preparation, production and daily operations within your assigned section, working closely with the Chef de Partie and senior chefs to maintain consistency, precision and excellence in every dish. The position is full-time, with an expected schedule covering mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends, and is offered for an undefined period with a 3-month trial period.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operations within your assigned kitchen station
• Assist in preparing menu items and specials according to standards
• Complete mise en place and ensure proper station setup before service
• Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to maintain consistency and quality
• Communicate with senior chefs about shortages or operational needs
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment
• Ensure proper storage of food and ingredients after service
• Follow HACCP and hygiene standards at all times
• Support timely and efficient food service delivery and assist with additional kitchen tasks as required

Required profile

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen
• Current work authorization in the Czech Republic or an EU passport
• Fluency in English
• Culinary or hospitality certification is an advantage
