Country Controlling Manager

About the role

OPmobility is looking for a Country Controlling Manager to join its Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Nový Jičín, Czech Republic. You will be responsible for consolidating financial reporting at the country level, guiding plant and R&D controllers, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate and validate country‑level financial reports on a timely basis.
• Lead month‑end close, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Provide financial guidance and coaching to plant, R&D and SG&A controllers.
• Analyse variances, conduct root‑cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Organise weekly financial reviews with operational teams to monitor performance.
• Manage standard costing, enforce internal controls and ensure IFRS compliance.
• Support internal and external audits and drive SAP process improvements.
• Prepare ad‑hoc financial analyses and presentations for senior leadership.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Plant Controller.
• Upper‑intermediate English; Czech language is a plus.
• Strong analytical, data‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven leadership experience with coaching and mentoring skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Strong expertise in SAP.
