Cybersecurity Consultant – Threat Detection & Response Lead

About the role

Join PwC's Threat Management team in Prague as a Cybersecurity Consultant leading the newly established Threat Detection & Response (TDR) delivery team. You will ensure high‑quality technical services that improve clients' security posture while acting as the main client contact and mentor for senior associates.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagements end‑to‑end, managing scope, priorities, escalations and delivery quality.
• Act as primary contact for security leadership, facilitating executive and technical workshops.
• Provide hands‑on expertise in SIEM, threat hunting, incident response and detection engineering.
• Review technical outputs and give architectural guidance on SIEM architecture, log management and use‑case frameworks.
• Monitor the threat landscape and translate findings into actionable client recommendations.
• Mentor senior associates, support their technical growth and drive business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cybersecurity, preferably 5+ years, with a background in SOC operations or managed security services.
• Strong client‑facing skills and ability to communicate with C‑level and security stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership in project and team management.
