Senior Threat Intelligence Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Threat Intelligence Engineer to join our Cyber Security team. The role combines strong analytical capabilities with hands‑on engineering and automation to turn threat intelligence into actionable security outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse the global threat landscape, tracking actors, malware campaigns, vulnerabilities, ransomware groups and phishing activity.
• Collect, enrich, correlate and operationalise Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) from internal and external sources.
• Operate and maintain Threat Intelligence Platforms such as MISP and integrate them with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR and ticketing systems via APIs.
• Develop automated workflows for threat ingestion, enrichment, deduplication, scoring and distribution.
• Produce tactical, operational and strategic intelligence reports for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Support Incident Response, Threat Hunting, Detection Engineering and Purple Team activities with actionable intelligence.
• Evaluate new intelligence sources, tools and technologies to continuously improve CTI capabilities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, SOC, Detection Engineering, Incident Response or similar roles.
• Hands‑on experience with Threat Intelligence Platforms (e.g., MISP, OpenCTI, ThreatConnect).
• Strong understanding of CTI concepts, IOC lifecycle management and intelligence‑driven defence.
• Practical knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and experience analysing threat actors, malware, phishing campaigns and vulnerabilities.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and business audiences.
