Data Operations Analyst

About the role

As a Data Operations Analyst at Similarweb, you will own the end‑to‑end monitoring and quality assurance of our large‑scale data collection services. Working within the Data Collection Operations team, you will ensure that raw data from mobile and desktop sources is captured accurately and delivered reliably to power insights for thousands of global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain configuration files that define data collection from web pages and APIs.
• Monitor data flow and quality using Grafana and related tools, promptly addressing outages or anomalies.
• Leverage AI‑driven automation to auto‑heal configurations and reduce alert fatigue.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies to improve collection processes.
• Collaborate with product managers and data team leaders to enhance monitoring systems.
• Perform code reviews, answer data‑related queries, and contribute to system improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis or data operations.
• Proven experience with Databricks, Spark, Airflow, and Grafana or similar platforms.
• Strong ability to perform complex data analysis using SQL, PySpark or Python.
• Comfortable acting as a trusted data partner, quickly identifying and resolving data issues.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and take on challenging problems.
• Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript is a plus.
