Developer Advocate

About the role

The Developer Advocate will act as the bridge between our engineering teams and the global developer community. Based in Czechia and working 100% remotely, you will use your technical expertise to create content, speak at events, and gather feedback that shapes our products.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the organization at conferences, meetups, webinars, podcasts, and other industry events.
• Create tutorials, demos, videos, code samples, and technical articles that simplify web data, APIs, and scraping workflows.
• Engage with developers on social media, forums, open‑source communities, and through direct outreach.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to turn developer feedback into better tools and documentation.
• Track the impact of events, content, and community initiatives to continuously improve the program.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in developer advocacy, community engagement, or a related technical role.
• Demonstrable presence within developer communities and a track record of public speaking.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for web data extraction technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python.
• Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, and data extraction.
• Experience with web scraping tools such as Scrapy or headless browsers.
