Documentation Senior Specialist

About the role

As a Documentation Senior Specialist you will support global export and import operations, reviewing and validating documentation for shipments across the Americas, Europe, APAC and South‑America zones. You will ensure all paperwork meets customer requirements, contractual terms and industry standards, while assisting the import customs clearance process.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation, collection and validation of transport, commercial and customs documents according to country and customer requirements.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, complete and delivered on time in line with agreed SLAs.
• Work with shipping lines and carriers to obtain required transport documents and monitor supplier performance.
• Collaborate with external partners such as chambers of commerce and laboratories to secure necessary certifications.
• Identify and implement improvements to freight audit processes, reliability and automation.
• Create routine and ad‑hoc reports to provide insights into process performance.

Required profile

• Graduate degree with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, structured approach with a commitment to quality results.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment and proactively improve processes.
• Fluency in English; additional Spanish, French or Portuguese is a plus.
