Material Scheduler Expert - Supply Chain Center

About the role

The Material Scheduler Expert ensures the availability of materials needed to support production schedules and maintain operational continuity. You will collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to plan requirements, place orders, monitor stock levels and proactively address supply issues.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure materials are available in line with production requirements and safety stock levels.
• Provide accurate visibility of material requirements to suppliers and place orders according to schedules.
• Monitor stock levels, supplier deliveries and material availability, taking action on potential shortages.
• Work with suppliers and Procurement to improve delivery performance.
• Manage packaging and raw material changeovers and minimise obsolescence.
• Maintain material planning data in SAP and support daily/weekly planning routines.
• Monitor KPIs such as Out of Stock, OTIF, Obsoletes, PPA, DCBL, NST and Core Working Capital.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and identify process improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Graduate degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Organised, proactive approach to managing priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluency in English; additional language (French, Dutch or German) is a plus.
