Finance Manager - Low Voltage Systems

About the role

ABB is looking for a Finance Manager for its Local Product Group covering Low Voltage Systems in Blucina, Czechia. The role reports to the ELSP-LVS Hub Finance Manager and acts as a business partner to the Local Business Manager, leading local finance teams to optimise financial performance within the Low Voltage Switchgears business line. The work model is hybrid, mainly onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business strategy into financial plans, realistic forecasts and measurable actions, driving profitability, cash flow and Net Working Capital performance.
• Define and implement global standards and business-specific guidelines to improve financial controlling processes, and share best practices for consistent controlling.
• Keep internal stakeholders informed and ensure transparency in financial reporting and disclosures.
• Support project controlling by monitoring project costs, financial performance, forecasts and profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost control and operational efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of experience in financial management and business partnering, including a finance leadership role with P&L responsibility in a multinational organisation.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Management Engineering or a related field.
• Solid experience in manufacturing or production, ideally in factory controlling and operational finance.
• Fluent English; knowledge of Czech is an advantage. Candidates from other countries with relevant manufacturing finance expertise may be offered an international assignment or relocation to Czechia.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, risk management and financial planning tools.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP.
• Analytical and business partnering skills, with the ability to communicate, influence stakeholders and lead teams through change.
