Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Prague is looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to support daily operations and lead a team committed to exceptional guest experiences. The role calls for a hands-on leader with strong operational knowledge, excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality. Applicants must have current work authorization in the Czech Republic or hold an EU passport, and the position is offered for an undefined period with a 3-month trial period.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Oversee daily operations and ensure service standards and procedures are followed
• Handle guest feedback, concerns and special requests professionally
• Conduct shift briefings and communicate operational information clearly to the team
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing development of team members
• Monitor service quality and take proactive steps to improve guest satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and sanitation standards
• Assist with scheduling, labour management, inventory control and cost management
• Monitor facilities and equipment and coordinate improvements or repairs
• Collaborate with other departments, support reporting and administrative tasks, and identify ways to improve efficiency, productivity and profitability

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in Food & Beverage or luxury hospitality
• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, proactive approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage

Required skills

• Good understanding of Food & Beverage operations, service standards and guest expectations
• Working knowledge of hospitality systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Organizational and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail
