Front Office Host

About the role

The Front Office Host at Andaz Prague is the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience throughout their stay. You will support the front‑office team, maintain smooth operations, and uphold the brand’s service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver polite, personal, and professional service to guests and colleagues.
• Take day and night reception shifts, monitoring and correcting processes as needed.
• Maintain databases, rate tables and all reception‑related systems.
• Communicate hotel activities to staff and guests, and monitor the functionality of front‑office devices.
• Ensure cleanliness, order, and adherence to dress‑code and appearance standards.
• Manage cash float, handle foreign‑currency exchange, and process guest payments.
• Record guest wishes, forward complaints to the service leader, and promote the World of Hyatt loyalty program.
• Actively upsell services and support bell staff during high‑volume periods.
• Assist with guest‑service requests, provide training to newcomers, and contribute to a positive workplace atmosphere.
