Operation Administrator

About the role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is looking for an Operation Administrator in Prague. The role ensures that staff work as a team to deliver optimum service and meet guest needs, while keeping the workplace safe, organized and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect staff grooming and attire and correct any deficiencies
• Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and locking doors
• Check storage areas for organization, FIFO use and cleanliness, and complete scheduled inventories
• Stock and requisition supplies, and monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety and guest well-being
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline and coaching, and act as the first point of contact for the Open Door Policy
• Follow company and safety/security policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, assist people with disabilities and thank them sincerely
• Develop and implement improvements that raise efficiency, productivity, quality, safety and cost savings

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• At least 2 years of related work experience
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience
• Able to stand, sit or walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move through narrow or elevated spaces
