Full Stack Engineer – Cloud APIs & Data (Python)

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with strong Python expertise to design and deliver cloud‑based, data‑intensive applications. The role involves end‑to‑end ownership of services, from architectural design through deployment and continuous improvement, within a leading digital transformation consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain cloud‑hosted REST APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django or Flask.
• Build data‑centric services that integrate with cloud databases, data platforms and external APIs.
• Implement event‑driven architectures using message queues and streaming technologies.
• Develop front‑end components with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
• Utilise cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) for hosting, storage, networking and managed databases.
• Take full ownership of features from technical design to deployment, monitoring and iteration.
• Write automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for reliable, frequent releases.

Required profile

• Self‑starter who takes complete ownership of solutions.
• Proven experience delivering production‑grade cloud REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL; familiarity with NoSQL is a plus.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS or GCP).
