Future Key Account Manager Programme

About the role

P&G, a global consumer goods manufacturer, runs a 6-month Future Key Account Manager programme in Prague. You will act as a Key Account Manager Trainee, co-leading business with a retailer and being responsible for a category or a customer. The programme includes a one-month onboarding period and leads to a managerial role upon successful completion.

Key responsibilities

• Work with key market retailers such as Albert, Tesco, Alza or DM to understand customers' and shoppers' needs and contribute to recommendations on assortment, merchandising and promotions.
• Collaborate with the customer team to prepare business plans and external negotiations.
• Build relationships with customers and work on space and location, promotion support, assortment, shelving and merchandising strategies.
• Develop negotiating, sales, financial, marketing, analytical and logistical skills.
• Work with colleagues from Finance, Marketing, Manufacturing sites and Suppliers.

Required profile

• Business and technical students in their 3rd, 4th or 5th year of study, or recent graduates.
• Strong initiative, problem-solving and advanced language skills in Czech and/or Slovak and English.
• Positive attitude towards challenges and changes, good interpersonal and multinational cooperation skills.
• Excellent analytical thinking and leadership skills.
• Active driver's licence.
