HSE Specialist

About the role

The HSE Specialist will support Jotun Czech in maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with Czech legislation and company standards. You will play a key role in developing the safety culture across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and continuously develop a strong safety culture throughout the plant.
• Maintain and develop the HSE management system in line with ISO 45001 and coordinate with ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
• Identify, assess and manage workplace risks, conduct safety walks, inspections and internal audits.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses, determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Organise and deliver HSE training, fire‑prevention drills and ensure proper use of PPE.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Professional competence in risk prevention (OZO v prevenci rizik) and fire protection (OZO v PO).
• Good command of Czech and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of responsibilities.

Required skills

• ISO 45001 implementation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 (advantageous).
• Risk assessment and incident investigation.
• Fire‑protection expertise.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
