Image Signal Processing Engineer

About the role

Join NXP's innovative team to integrate and develop Image Signal Processing (ISP) software for Linux-based platforms, ensuring high image quality for embedded applications.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate ISP device software stack into upstream Linux (libCamera, V4L, driver, middleware).
• Develop image processing and camera data algorithms and optimize them for upstream Linux versions.
• Maintain upstreaming process, communicate with the open‑source community, and update documentation.
• Collaborate on HW/SW co‑design, perform image quality assurance, and create demo applications for KPI measurements.
• Provide customer support and work with stakeholders to meet image quality expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Image Signal Processing or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of programming experience (C/C++, Python) with a focus on Linux development.
• Strong problem‑solving, planning and project management skills.
• Fluent English communication.
