Junior IT Support – Service Desk

About the role

Join the internal IT support team of a leading consulting firm and provide first‑line assistance to employees across the Czech and Slovak Republics. You will help resolve everyday technical issues and prepare equipment for new colleagues, seeing the impact of your work daily.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level IT support in person and via phone.
• Answer employee questions about company‑supported applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Advise users on solutions and next steps.
• Act as a liaison between end users and technology teams.
• Assist with onboarding device preparation.
• Document incidents and resolutions for future reference.
• Support administrative IT tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Interest in IT technologies, principles, and operations.
• Ability to work independently as a 1st‑level support specialist.
• Experience or strong interest in operational support, proactive monitoring, and problem troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication in English; fluent Czech or Slovak is mandatory.
• Pragmatic, flexible team player with a proactive attitude.
