Junior Project Finance Controller

About the role

Huawei is looking for a Junior Project Finance Controller in Prague. The role manages the financial aspects of projects so they are delivered within budget and on time, working closely with the project team to track spending, monitor cash flow and provide financial status reports.

Key responsibilities

• Revenue and profit analysis for key accounts on a monthly basis, and reading and analysing customers' annual reports as requested
• Review financial risk and evaluate financial earn and loss against a checklist
• Prepare and update the annual budget and run a full rolling forecast monthly
• Organise operational meetings and warn in advance about deteriorating positions and risks
• Identify abnormal costs and revenues early and make manual adjustments or accruals after reporting
• Monitor revenue billing gaps and help speed up the billing process
• Provide financial support and guidance to the project team as needed

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience
• Strong financial and budgeting skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent English; Czech/Slovak is an advantage
• Eligible to work and live in the job location

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with financial software
