Last Mile Operations Manager

About the role

At Rohlik we are launching a brand‑new, highly automated fulfillment centre in Opatovice nad Labem. As the Last Mile Operations Manager you will join the site from day one and shape how the last‑mile function works. You will lead a team of Area Managers and build processes, standards and culture from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Own the last‑mile operation, driving delivery performance, on‑time rates, safety compliance and labour management.
• Coach, mentor and scale a team of Area Managers, ensuring optimal staffing, skills and readiness.
• Collaborate with Transport, OpEx, HR, IT and Automation to solve live challenges and align resources.
• Monitor delivery KPIs, conduct root‑cause analyses and champion continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support implementation of new routing, dispatch systems and standardise best‑practice adoption.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in last‑mile, logistics, transport or delivery operations management.
• Proven track record of leading teams of 50+ people in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with data‑driven decision‑making.
• Excellent communication, coordination and leadership abilities.
• Fluent English and conversational Czech.

Required skills

• University degree or MBA in a related field (nice to have).
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with routing/dispatch systems and fleet‑management tools.
