Lead Software Engineer – Integration

About the role

Join the Animal Health division to lead a small team of integration engineers and build solutions that protect animal health. You will split your time between technical leadership and hands‑on architecture design, working across cloud, SaaS, e‑commerce and ERP systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 4 MuleSoft engineers, fostering a coding environment that emphasizes quality and growth.
• Shape the integration roadmap and design robust solutions connecting AWS, SaaS applications, e‑commerce platforms, ERP, laboratory systems and micro‑services.
• Evaluate new integration demands, promote reusable and scalable patterns, and drive API‑led, event‑driven architectures.
• Collaborate with international teams in Prague, the US and India, and influence product backlog and technical debt decisions.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience with development, integration and micro‑services (iPaaS, API Management, SOA, EAI).
• Strong communication skills in English, able to present technical concepts to business and leadership in a global setting.
• Experience working in regulated enterprise environments and familiarity with CI/CD, containerisation and DevSecOps.
