Medior IT Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Revelrobotics is building a robotics platform that captures expert human work and translates it into robot intelligence. As a Medior IT Infrastructure Engineer you will design, build and operate the physical and computational infrastructure that powers the engineering, machine‑learning and content teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain the network: switching, routing, VLAN segmentation, firewalls, site‑to‑site VPN and wireless coverage across office, lab and workshop.
• Run core network services such as DHCP, internal DNS, NTP, RADIUS and certificate‑based authentication.
• Manage the physical estate: servers, GPU nodes, NAS, backup storage, racks, structured cabling, PDUs and UPS units.
• Build and operate shared high‑throughput storage, job scheduling, GPU allocation, container and image registries.
• Own backup and recovery processes for research data and infrastructure state, including off‑site copies and restore testing.
• Develop internal tooling for monitoring, alerting, inventory, capacity reporting and simple web administration interfaces.
• Diagnose hardware and network faults from cabling and optics through drivers, firmware and kernel‑level issues.
• Collaborate with vendors, integrators and support organisations on warranties, RMAs and procurement.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in IT infrastructure or related fields.
• Strong practical knowledge of modern network infrastructure (L2/L3 switching, routing, VLANs, DHCP/DNS, firewalls, VPN, enterprise wireless).
• Proficient Linux administration and Bash scripting, able to troubleshoot storage, networking and boot‑level problems.
• Programming ability for internal tooling (Python or equivalent).
• Comfort with physical hardware installation, cabling and component replacement.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to support non‑technical colleagues.
