Payroll Specialist

About the role

As a Payroll Specialist you will coordinate end‑to‑end payroll processes for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, ensuring accurate and timely payments in line with local labour laws and company policies. You will work closely with an external payroll provider and support store and office teams across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Execute compliant payroll runs for both countries in collaboration with the external provider.
• Maintain employee payroll and personnel files and ensure data accuracy in the time‑attendance system.
• Process employee hires, exits and staff changes, and manage related documentation.
• Deliver basic payroll trainings (time‑attendance, routines) to key stakeholders.
• Prepare internal and external payroll reports and act as point of contact for authorities.
• Manage payroll‑related employee benefits such as staff discount plans and incentive programs.
• Support payroll projects assigned by the Payroll Manager and contribute to departmental goals.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Czech and Slovak labour and payroll legislation.
• Proven payroll experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Fluent in Czech and English (both spoken and written).
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to plan, organise and manage projects effectively.
