POLO Associate - Maternity Cover

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is growing its PO Lifecycle Operations (POLO) team in Prague. The POLO Associate manages the purchase order process and related tasks on behalf of and in partnership with key sector stakeholders, coordinating low- to medium-complexity PO lifecycle activities such as purchase requisition creation, routing and approval, and invoicing and payments support. The role requires a high degree of customer care and clear communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Run day-to-day P2P/POLO operations, covering end-to-end PO lifecycle management, accounts payable and procurement operations, in line with agreed SLAs and policy and legal compliance.
• Prioritise stakeholder management and customer service, engaging regularly with stakeholders to confirm PR/PO details, carry out PO tasks and resolve discrepancies.
• Guide internal stakeholders on contract creation and other pre-creation tasks needed before or during the PO lifecycle.
• Support testing and implementation of automation and AI initiatives in the assigned area.
• Resolve purchase order issues such as pricing discrepancies or delays in services, materials or payments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and procurement best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred.
• 2-3 years of previous business process or business operations experience.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Attention to detail, organisational and time management skills, and good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Analytical thinking, procurement and purchase order management.
• Preferred: prior experience with purchasing systems such as Ariba or equivalent, and a good understanding of accounts payable, payments, sourcing and contracting, and source-to-settle operations.

What we offer

• Base pay range of CZK 542,000 to CZK 871,700.
